BIOGRAPHY
DAVID BERTMAN
Bertman attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. He earned his Master’s Degree at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts where he graduated both Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
His master’s thesis film won numerous international film festival awards and a CINE Golden Eagle. It was chosen to represent “the best of the best” student films around the world.
Bertman has edited a wide range of feature film and television productions including Judd Apatow's critically acclaimed “This is 40” starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, the Emmy Award winning “Gilmore Girls.” And "This is Us" for which he received the ACE Eddie Award for best edited commercial program.
He has received the John Huston Directing Award and the Mary Pickford Foundation grant for his directing work.
